Think difference is an internationally acknowledged consulting and research office. Our main focus is on analysing the dynamics, potentials and challenges of societies driven by migration and diversity. We advise and support political institutions as well as public and private organizations on a national, regional and community-based level.

Focal points of our work are the management as well as development of work models and approaches to address societal change in constructive manner. Based on our competences and expertise we conduct application oriented studies, analyses and develop strategies, concepts and practical solutions.

Our work areas include a vast variety of topics and often focus on sensitive issues, such as integration, radicalization, diversity, education, inclusion and other related issues (as listed below).

In accordance with our corporate philosophy, we work as a small core team, only expanding periodically for specific projects or requests. This enables us to form flexible competence teams with other experts, well-established strategic partners and associates, therefore giving us the possibility to approach each order individually according to its topic and complexity.

Kenan Güngör [director]

Kenan Güngör, sociologist, German-speaking European with Kurdish-Turkish roots. Founder and owner of [think.difference], the office for society, organization and development in Vienna. He works as a consultant and international expert on integration issues and diversity, was a visiting professor at the University of Vienna and has worked as a strategic advisor for the city of Vienna for many years. He is also a member of an independent think tank of the Austrian government on integration, as well as the chairman of the Expert_Forum for “prevention, deradicalization and democratic culture” of the city of Vienna.

His research emphasis is on: societal change, integration, participation, diversity, organizational development, urban sociology, youth, education, identity, violence and conflict analysis, radicalization.
